Strength Is Multidimensional.

Physical strength may be where a young person starts. It's not what defines them.

Our Story

PLACEHOLDER — founding narrative. Once the Organizational Overview and founder's story are confirmed for public use, this section covers why More Than Muscle started, who started it, and what gap it was built to fill.

Our Philosophy

More Than Muscle exists on a simple premise: physical strength is often the easiest entry point into a young person's life, but it's not the whole of who they are or who they're becoming. Real strength shows up in how a young person makes decisions, handles setbacks, treats other people, and follows through on commitments — in the classroom, at home, and in their community.

That's why our programs reach past the physical into education, mentorship, decision-making, discipline, leadership, practical life skills, accountability, and community. None of it works in isolation — it's one connected model. Learn how the model fits together

Mission

More Than Muscle equips young people with the knowledge, discipline, practical skills, and support needed to make informed decisions, take ownership of their growth, and navigate life with confidence and purpose.

Vision

A generation that understands strength extends far beyond the physical — young people who think critically, lead with integrity, pursue their goals, build healthy relationships, and positively impact their families and communities.

Who We Serve

Student athletes ages 11–18 in under-resourced communities, met where they already are — in schools, in mentoring relationships, and in physical-development settings.
